Inspired by Northanger Abbey, in which the character John Thorpe boasts of eating “as many as ten Sally Lunns at once”, this experience brings that scene vividly to life. Enjoy a leisurely tasting of our famous Sally Lunn Bunns – both savoury and sweet – accompanied by a pot of our own Sally Lunn’s Blend tea. A playful nod to Bath’s most celebrated author, this afternoon tea invites you to savour a true taste of Georgian indulgence in one of the city’s most atmospheric settings.
Our Jane Austen Inspired Afternoon Tea is priced at £28.50 per guest. This is a set menu with no substitutions, other than for those guests with dietary requirements.
